HRANIFIX PREMIUM - Adeziv de contact

Contact adhesive Hranifix PREMIUM is characterized by a high dry matter content (38–42 %) and by a low level of solvents. That is why the material is ready to bond within a few minutes and you get an excellent strength of the bond. No more maintenance is necessary. Hranifix PREMIUM has no odour. It is water resistant and stable even in extremely high temperatures up to 130 °C. The adhesive is colourless. Not suitable for materials containing plasticizers.

APPLICATION

Hranifix PREMIUM adhesive is applied by spraying, activated by pressure.

You shall prepare the surface to be clean, dry and free of dust before the application. After such a preparation you can apply the adhesive on both bonding surfaces. Application must be carried out at the temperature of 15–25 C and at the distance of 15–25 cm from the surface of the material bonded.

The ideal joint is achieved by covering 80–100 % of the surface with a thin and uniform layer of adhesive. Do not apply too thick layer so that the adhesive is not spread around. While having the optimum coating, the adhesive creates a surface film similar to a spider net.

After applying the layer, allow the adhesive to ventilate for about 3 minutes (the adhesive is dry when being touched). After the solvent evaporates, you should put the surface together and strongly press it (or squeeze). Regarding porous materials, you can apply the second layer after venting. The layer increases the bond strength.

With the kegs you need also 3.6 m of the Hranifix Hose and Hranifix Gun – the applying gun.

NOTICE

Before using the glue in production, it is necessary to carry out own tests and to test all surfaces intended to be bonded. It is the user's responsibility to ensure that the adhesive is suitable for the surfaces. In the cold season of the year, it is recommended to leave the glue for 2-4 days in a keg in a place with temperature of 15-25 °C due to warming up the glue. At lower temperatures, the adhesive layer may become uneven or the pressure could fluctuate during application. We also recommend underlaying the keg with isolating material in the case of a cold floor.

CLEANING

We recommend using the cleaning agent Hraniclean 01 (08) to clean the unwanted adhesive remains.

STORAGE

Store only in original, firmly sealed packaging in dry, cool, and well-ventilated areas. Keep it away from direct sunlight or the temperatures above 50 C. High temperature may cause an explosion. The floor of the storage must be waterproof and solvent resistant. With the proper storage, the adhesive stays stable for 18 months.
